We had Tyler and crew pour concrete steps, extend a pad and install a concrete drain. He even fixed a retaining wall and raised and existing concrete slab in the process that had been sinking. I'm very happy with the quality and construction of my patio. The work was completed professionally with no issues. I was particularly impressed with the care that was shown with the rest of our property - the pour area was not easy to reach and elevated from the rest of the property. After the job was completed, no evidence was left on the yard or anywhere else on my property that indicated a 42'x12' patio had been constructed.

We got multiple bids for a new turnaround driveway addition. We went with TFord, and it was absolutely the right decision.
With a big, expensive project such as this, the ability to communicate with everyone involved helps immensely. By the end, I was able to directly contact the owner, the project foreman, and the office manager. This became especially important because of the difficulty in adding driveways where I live (Olivette). Procuring approval and permits in Olivette is especially challenging and often takes 6 months or more just to acquire a building permit.
In our case, TFord met with Olivette permitting officials on-site at our house to discuss acceptable “best practices” for stormwater management for our new driveway. This made finding an acceptable solution far simpler than back-and-forth emails and drawings. Based on past building experiences, this was certainly going the extra mile to make the project happen. We ended up adding a French drain to catch runoff from the driveway and divert the overflow water to the side yard, where the water would naturally absorb along the slope into the backyard.
Now onto the actual driveway … the build quality looks excellent. They spent multiple days prepping the site, excavating a layer of dirt to form a flat, acceptable base. They then added a good layer of gravel and rebar before the pour. It was clear that the job was done with care. They also added some PVC conduit underneath the driveway to use in the future for irrigation pipes and low voltage landscape light wires. Finally, they also moved our mailbox, which was previously anchored with a fairly substantial concrete footing (i.e. moving the mailbox would have been a huge pain for me to do myself). Costs were very reasonable (completely spelled out without any surprise fees or overage costs), communication was fantastic, and the build process was as seamless as possible (not gonna lie … projects like this are never easy). We received the official lien release immediately after the final payment.
Finding reliable contractors is extremely difficult … most never know they’re working with a dud until they’re in too deep. For concrete work, TFord is absolutely one of the good ones.
